Donating Items

Lake Christian Ministries gladly accepts donations of items to assist neighbors in need.

Donations of Household and Furniture Items: Our neighbors often need donated clothing, household items, furniture, personal care items, cleaning supplies, and diapers. These items may be dropped off at our warehouse, which is located in Building 2 of the LCM campus: 13105 South Old Moneta Road, Moneta VA 24121.

Donation drop-off hours are: 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the last Tuesday of each month.

Donations of Food Items: Non-perishable food (within the serve-by date) may also be donated to support our food-assistance program. These items may be dropped off at our food warehouse, which is located in Building 1 on the LCM campus: 13157 South Old Moneta Road, Moneta VA 24121.

Other ways to make an impact with food donations

Make A Simple Gesture for neighbors in need!

Join LCM’s A Simple Gesture Program and make quarterly food donations. A wish list attached to A Simple Gesture tote bag gives you a list of items needed each quarter. Quarterly reminders are sent to you by email. You may register as a donor and/or a pick-up driver. Donors in specified neighbors may choose to have their donation bags picked up outside their front doors or they may choose to drop off donation bags at designated drop-off sites in the SML community.
